Cards+ Lab

Cards+ projects transcend traditional card making and opens up the world of paper crafting to all skill levels. Our goal at the end of every class is for the student to be glad they came to or watched the class because of an inspiration they had, a tip they learned, and the FUNN they had.

Class Details

  • 3 times a month
  • Classes are self-contained
  • 3 - 4 exclusive projects a week shared nowhere else
  • Extra photo samples
  • Follow-up time stamped class notes with more details and ideas
  • Archived video in Lesson Library, and optional student homework for the gallery and discussion forum available.

Scrapbook Lab

FUNN University’s approach to scrapbooking is all about support and systems. Our 7-step easy scrapbooking process includes a blend of pre-recorded preparatory and teaching videos and live process classes. If you can’t make the live class or want to review a tip or idea, there is are time-stamped details in the Teacher’s Note section of each archived lab in the Lesson Library. Students love this supportive and interactive approach and are successfully completing their own family stories every month since introducing this system.

Crop Lab

Sometimes I like to make something beyond scrapbooking and cards, so we created Crop Lab. Here, I can help you or show you ideas to use your supplies in crafty ways. It is a FUNN way to try new projects together!

Class Details

  • Relaxed, but purposeful
  • Students like to create with us or just hang out
  • 1- 2 hours long
  • Self-contained project
  • Past projects have included canvases, wooden art boxes, and mini albums.
  • Technique and/or project related
  • Time-stamped notes of the class, archived video in Lesson Library, and optional student homework for the gallery and discussion forum available.

Craft Roulette

Open to students and yet-to-be students Craft Roulette is one of my favorite times of the week! I get to create a project using 4 random parameters I spin for during the show! There is a lot of interaction with the “audience” and giveaways, too. It is extra FUNN because I feature contestant submitted cards from last week’s show (also on CraftRoulette.live)! Everyone can play and watch - it is SO FUNN!

Class Details

  • Live, then archived on CraftRoulette.live, my Mary Gunn FUNN/FUNN University YouTube channel, and the Craft Roulette Pinterest board
  • Paper crafting game show challenge
  • Unrehearsed, unplanned and random projects every week
  • Audience can participate and submit projects and be recognized

  • Monday evenings at 6:30 Central (except the last Monday of the month)
  • Casual and loosely planned
  • Perfect for questions about the site and/or crafts
