Proximity Tips for Different Card Sizes

Cards+ Lab

About The Lesson

Have you ever wondered why one or more of your card elements feel like they don’t fit into the entire card, but don’t know what to do? Or how about that card you made that just feels all put together just right, how did you do that? Perhaps the secret lies in the design principle of “proximity”.

July, 2021’s card lessons are all about using proximity to make your card elements feel like a cohesive unit. Because we are usually aware of the bugs of summer and their proximity to us, we are using bugs as our featured element. Then to stretch the idea a bit more, we showed different size cards each week. Oh, and there is a little stash bashing, too!

I hope you will enjoy this 4 lesson class on proximity.
